Short biography
Umut Aydın began his career in information technology at an early age, working on software development and technology projects before taking on consulting assignments for companies in various countries. These experiences gave him extensive exposure to international business, enterprise technology, and large-scale implementation projects.
In 2007, Aydın founded Knowledge Experts, a technology and management consultancy, where he continues to serve as CEO. Under his leadership, the company has expanded across multiple European markets, delivering digital transformation, enterprise software, and technology strategy projects for leading organizations.
Today, Aydın works closely with boards, executive committees, and senior leadership teams, particularly in financial services, industrial companies, and regulated sectors. His work focuses on technology strategy, digital transformation, artificial intelligence, enterprise architecture, and the organizational implications of emerging technologies.
Motorsport has also been a significant part of Aydın's professional career. Over the years, he has worked with and advised various organizations across the motorsport industry, including Formula 1 teams, bringing his experience in technology, strategy, and organizational performance to the highly competitive world of racing. He continues his involvement in the sport as a consultant to Racing Team Turkey, while also advising a number of Fortune 500 companies and other leading organizations across different industries.
A frequent speaker on technology strategy, digital governance, artificial intelligence, and organizational transformation, Aydın has also contributed to European Union and World Bank programs as an expert consultant, supporting innovation, digitalization, and policy-related initiatives.
Alongside his professional work, Aydın is actively involved in civil society. He serves as Vice President of the Yanındayız Association, an organization working to advance gender equality in Turkey, and as Secretary General of TİDER, which focuses on food banking, poverty reduction, and sustainable support models.
With more than two decades of experience across technology, management, and organizational transformation, Aydın brings a pragmatic and strategic perspective to the intersection of business, technology, and social impact.
